Quick install

Connect your AI tool and ask your first question using your brand profile.

Add Antiem to an AI tool that supports MCP, then ask your first question about your brand. There is no installer: your AI tool connects to the address below and opens Antiem for sign-in.

Add to Cursor

Before you start

You need an Antiem account with access to at least one brand and an AI tool that supports remote MCP connections. To try answers with sources, that brand needs documents or a completed profile.

  • Already have a profile: go straight to the connection steps below.
  • Have an account but no profile: open Antiem, create a brand if prompted and import a short document. See Getting started.
  • Do not have access yet: join the waitlist. Connecting MCP does not unlock beta access or create a brand.

You do not need to install a server, enter an API key or give AI your password. Your chosen tool opens Antiem for sign-in and authorization.

Connect your AI tool

Choose the tool you use. You only need one connection method.

Claude

  1. Open Customize → Connectors, then + Add → Add custom connector.
  2. Name it Antiem and paste the MCP URL at the top of this page.
  3. Continue with the detected OAuth sign-in, log in to Antiem and review the requested permissions.
  4. Enable Antiem in a new conversation using + → Connectors.

On Team and Enterprise plans, an organization owner must add the connector first (on Enterprise, some custom roles can too), under Organization settings → Connectors → Add → Custom → Web. Members then open Customize → Connectors and click Connect. If your menus differ, check the current Claude instructions.

ChatGPT

In ChatGPT on the web, open Plugins, select +, then Add custom MCP server. Enter a name such as Antiem, paste the MCP URL, choose OAuth and authorize. Install the plugin, start a new conversation, type @ and select it before sending a prompt.

Account and workspace policies decide whether you can add a custom MCP server. If the option is missing, try Claude, Cursor or Codex. See OpenAI's connection guide.

Cursor

If Cursor is installed, click Add to Cursor at the top of this page. Cursor opens a confirmation screen: check the antiem server name and URL, confirm, then sign in to Antiem when asked. The button does not grant access by itself. Enable the server in a chat that can use tools.

If the button does not open Cursor, follow the manual connection instructions.

Codex

If Codex CLI is installed, run these two commands:

Codex CLI commands
codex mcp add antiem --url https://mcp.antiem.io/mcp
codex mcp login antiem

The first saves the server address; the second opens your browser to sign in. The sign-in screen lists the permissions Codex requests. Start a Codex session and use /mcp to check Antiem.

In the Codex IDE extension, open the gear menu → MCP servers → Add server, choose Streamable HTTP and enter the URL above. See the Codex MCP guide.

VS Code

Run MCP: Add Server from the Command Palette, select HTTP and enter the MCP URL. Name it antiem, choose the configuration location offered by VS Code and sign in. Enable the server in a Copilot session that can call tools.

Menus and configuration locations can change between versions. See the VS Code guide.

Ask your first question

Send this prompt in a conversation with Antiem enabled. It asks AI to find your brands, let you choose if there are several, read the selected profile and summarize its voice and boundaries.

First prompt
Use Antiem to list the brands I can access. If there is more than one, ask me to choose. Then read the selected brand profile and summarize its voice and what the brand will not do. Quote sources when available and identify missing information. Read only; do not update the profile.

A successful first run has three signs:

  1. AI calls an Antiem tool and finds a brand you can access.
  2. Its answer uses the selected profile and identifies missing information.
  3. You can compare its sources with the Brand profile or original documents.

The prompt asks only to read. What the connection can actually do is set by the permissions you allow on the sign-in screen, which lists everything the client requests. Even with write access, changes need a confirmation step and an owner or admin role.

If the connection does not work

  • No brands appear: sign in with the right Antiem account and check your brand invitation. MCP cannot create brands for you.
  • No tools appear: enable the connector in your conversation or start a new session after adding the server.
  • The brand appears but answers are empty: import documents to provide profile data first.
  • Access is denied or expired: sign in again from your AI tool. Do not paste tokens or passwords into chat.

See connection troubleshooting.
